Day 01

• Departure from Islamabad (early morning)
• Journey through Mansehra, Shinkiari, Battagram on Karakoram Highway (KKH).
• Crossing through Indus River and passing through Besham, Dasu and Diamer-Bhasha dam sites.
• Night Stay in Chilas

Day 02

• Drive to Astore valley from Chilas (4hrs)
• Drive along Astore river through villages
• Stop at Astore Bazaar
• Jeep drive to Rama on non-metalled road. Ascend towards hotel/guest house in Rama
• Drive towards Rama lake (walk in some scenarios) for photography (views of Nanga Parbat)
• Night stay in Rama/Astore (depending on hotel availability)

Day 03

• Morning walk in the forest/vegetation area near Polo ground
• Departure for Deosai Plateau (early drive if you want to cross bara pani)
• Cross Bara Pani
• Picnic lunch at Deosai National Park
• Stop at Sheosar lake
• Stop at Sadara lake/Dam
• Night stay in Skardu

Day 04

• Drive to Shangrila Resort
• Visit Upper Kachura lake
• Drive through Cold Desert to Shigar
• Visit Shigar Fort Residence (lunch)
• Drive back to Skardu city and hike to Kharpocho fort (40min hike – optional)
• Night stay in Skardu

Day 5

• Drive to Ghanche district
• Visit Sailing village below Khaplu valley and visit Haji Mushtaq fish farm
• Drive to Khaplu
• Visit Chaqchan Mosque
• Visit of Khaplu Fort Residence (Aga Khan Cultural Services Pakistan)
• Drive to Kharmang district
• Visit Manthoka water falls (packed lunch)
• Night stay in Skardu

Day 6

• Drive towards Islamabad via Babusar(if open) or KKH
• Night stay in Naran/Kaghan or Besham

Day 7

• Departure for Islamabad
• Arrival and drop in Islamabad
