TOUR CONSULTANT
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a motivated and experienced International Tour Consultant with specialized expertise in FIT (Free Independent Traveler) itineraries. In this role, you will design highly personalized, detail-oriented travel experiences for individuals, couples, and families, converting inquiries into confirmed sales. You will serve as a travel expert, curating unique journeys from start to finish while achieving ambitious sales targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• FIT Specialist Focus: Design, cost, and sell customized international tour packages for Free Independent Travelers (FITs), not group or corporate travel.
• Handle inbound leads and proactively engage clients seeking personalized travel experiences.
• Understand client aspirations, preferences, and budgets to craft tailored itineraries covering flights, hotels, visas, transfers, and unique experiences.
• Maximize lead conversion through expert consultation and meticulous follow-up.
• Maintain expert knowledge of destinations, luxury & boutique properties, visa regulations, and niche travel trends relevant to FIT clients.
• Ensure flawless end-to-end execution by coordinating with internal operations and supplier teams.
• Build long-term client relationships for repeat and referral business.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in FIT tour planning and sales. Candidates with only group or corporate travel experience will not be considered.
• Proven expertise in crafting bespoke itineraries for destinations such as Dubai, Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Azerbaijan (Baku), and Europe.
• Proficiency with hotel booking portals and direct contract knowledge.
• Strong understanding of visa processes for key tourist destinations.
• Working knowledge of GDS (Sabre) for flexible flight arrangements is essential for FIT planning.
• Exceptional client-facing skills: consultative selling, attention to detail, and premium service delivery.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of managing multiple complex itineraries simultaneously.
• Personal international travel experience is a significant advantage.
